Friendship Baptist Church of Hope Mills, North Carolina, is seeking a bi-vocational pastor to lead our
congregation, understanding that bi-vocational position means the pastor would need a secondary
means of income while being available for the duties as the pastor of our church. We understand that
the church may need to be sensitive to the schedule and responsibilities of his other job. We are a Bible
believing congregation, affiliated with the New South River Baptist Association and the Southern Baptist
Convention. We are looking for the man that the Lord has already chosen for our congregation. He will
have strong leadership skills and connect with both the congregation and church leaders. Duties would
include but are not limited to:
– Preparing and conducting Sunday Morning service
– Wednesday evening Bible Study
– Wedding ceremonies, funerals, baptisms, baby dedications, and provide input and advise during
business meetings
– Other pastoral needs, including (as necessary and available) hospital visitation, prayer, and
counseling

The candidate will need exceptional people and communication skills with a passion to reach individuals
for the Lord. We desire a pastor who will challenge growth and will lead the Church. We are seeking an
energetic pastor with the following qualifications:
– Ordained
– Has a minimum of five (5) years’ experience
– Attended or graduated from an accredited Bible College or Seminary
– Provide a DVD or web link with two (2) worship services you recently conducted (if available)

Compensation Package:
Salary: $30,000-$33,000 per year
Vacation: 3 weeks
Sick Days: 5*
