Charles Stanley 1932-2023

Charles Stanley was a Homiletics professor at Fruitland from 1957-1959. I still talk to students from time to time who had the privilege of being in his classes. It was obvious to his students, that Charles Stanley had a passion for God and a compassion for people. Those two aspects of passion and compassion would later become part of the mission of his TV ministry called In Touch Ministries. Charles Stanley often referred to his time at Fruitland in his sermons and in his books. All of us at Fruitland are grateful for his ministry on this campus and for all God did through him in the subsequent years.
