General Statement of Job

Demonstrate a strong commitment to Jesus Christ while developing and implementing a music
ministry that enhances the worship of God and whole ministry of the church.

Job Functions
1. Plan worship services.
2. Lead rehearsals.
3. Plan music for special events or services.
4. Be responsible for music and worship budget.
5. Purchase music, instruments, and supplies.
6. Work closely with the Sound and Media Committee.
7. Coordinate Music Ministry visitation, outreach, prayer ministry.
8. Assist the pastor and staff in regular church visitation and outreach.
9. Follow the General Guidelines as outlined for all staff members.
10. Provide information for Sunday’s bulletin by the prior Wednesday at 12:00 p.m.
11. Coordinate and teach music for Vacation Bible School.
12. Office hours are required.
