Full-time Associate Pastor of Worship and Pastoral Care, Burlington, NC
Pittsboro Baptist Church (Pittsboro, NC) is prayerfully seeking a full-time Associate Pastor of Worship and Pastoral Care. The Associate Pastor of Worship and Pastoral Care will assist the Senior Pastor in planning congregational worship services of the church and be responsible for the selection of the musical programs. He will direct the organization and implementation of a comprehensive worship program that will include choir, praise team, vocal and instrumental ensembles for all ages. In addition to the music ministry of the church, the Associate Pastor of Worship and Pastoral Care will serve alongside of the Senior Pastor in ministering to the congregation through visitation, encouragement, bereavement, and counsel when appropriate. In addition to these responsibilities, the Associate Pastor of Worship and Pastoral Care will uphold the moral and professional qualifications stated in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-7; maintain a close walk with God personally so that he can minister effectively to our congregation and in our community; and fully pray for, honor, and support the philosophy of Pittsboro Baptist Church and its leadership team.
