Full-time Minister of Youth and Children, Roanoke Rapids, N.C.

Rosemary Baptist Church has an open position for a full-time Minister of Youth and Children.
The minister would be responsible to the Senior Pastor for the development and execution of a comprehensive
program discipleship for the youth and children at Rosemary Baptist Church.

1. Develop and implement a vision for the youth and children’s ministry.
2. Consult with church leaders in planning, conducting and evaluating a youth and
children’s discipleship ministry and enlisting appropriate volunteers.
3. Advise in the use of program materials and equipment needed by the youth and
children’s ministries.
4. Oversee Vacation Bible School in connection with our volunteers
5. Plan special projects, trips, and retreats as necessary.
6. Coordinate youth and children’s outreach.
7. Serve a member of the Church Council.
8. Conduct the Children’s Sermon during Sunday worship.
9. Be able to lead in worship in the absence of the Senior Pastor.
10. Be available to counsel youth, children, and their families during times of crisis.
11. Conduct the children’s sermon.
12. Oversee children’s church.
13. Other duties as assigned by the Senior Pastor.
