Students come to Fruitland from every part of the country and all walks of life.
Fruitland has always been the perfect school to explore a mid-career transition to ministry. Increasingly, many students are high school grads who are not entirely certain about God’s plan for their lives. Retirees frequently choose Fruitland as they are entering a new phase of life want and can serve God in a way that was never before possible.
Fruitland’s pastor-professor faculty makes it the perfect environment to prepare for ministry and focus on your spiritual growth while not accruing student debt.

When I was 13 or 14 years old I was convinced that I was called to ministry. After high school I went to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I graduated with a Bachelor’s in political science in 1972.
Several years ago my pastor said “God’s call never runs out” and I started taking classes at Fruitland. Like UNC, there are tough classes and there are easy classes. But at Fruitland I’ve never had a single professor that tried to trick you or trip you up. Fruitland professors want you to learn and succeed.
